About Elizabeth

I have supported individuals and families in transition for over ten years, first as a hospice caregiver and now as a therapist.  My master’s degree is in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, which means that my education and clinical experience have focused not only on individuals in isolation, but on individuals across the lifespan and in relationship to others, and included specific training focused on productively working with multiple people at the same time.  I have also pursued deeper training in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), an approach to therapy developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz.

**Please note that although my degree says ‘marriage’ I welcome all people, and relationships of all varieties and in any stage. **

I relish my work as a therapist. I love the surprises, healing and gentleness that therapy can bring to my clients. I love the challenges to me to continue to grow and become ever more open-hearted and grounded in the midst of unfolding processes. It is truly humbling to witness the uniqueness, range and depth of human experience, and to help clients grow.

Please feel free to contact me by phone or email with any questions.
